Blue Sea Capital Acquires Sun Valley Machine Works, Inc.
July 22, 2014Blue Sea Capital LLC (“Blue Sea”) announced today the formation of Sunvair Aerospace Group, Inc. (“Sunvair” or the “Company”), a platform through which it acquired certain operating assets and liabilities of Sun Valley Machine Works, Inc. (dba Sunvair), a provider of MRO services to the commercial and military aerospace industry.
Sunvair is a leading, independent provider of landing gear overhaul and component repair services for commercial and military aircraft. The Company’s capabilities and certifications include a number of leading aircraft platforms, such as the Boeing 737, Lockheed C-130 and Airbus A320. The Company services both domestic and international aircraft operators from its Valencia, California headquarters and FAA repair station. The Company’s commitment to quality and service has earned it numerous customer accolades, including twice Boeing “Supplier of the Year,” and repeatedly a Boeing “Gold Supplier.”
