TOWSON, MD – One Physics (“OP”), the largest outsourced medical physics services company in North America, announced the acquisition of Diagnostic Technology Consultants, Inc. Founded in 1986 by Board-certified medical physicist Audrey Wegst and today led by Audrey and her son Greg Wegst, DTC is a leading provider of diagnostic medical physics and radiation safety services in Kansas, Missouri, and Florida.
“When I founded Diagnostic Technology Consultants, my vision was to bring exceptional medical physics expertise to healthcare providers across the Midwest,” said Audrey Wegst. “Over the years, we’ve built trusted relationships with our clients, supported by our commitment to clinical precision and patient safety. Partnering with One Physics marks an exciting new chapter, honoring our legacy while positioning us to grow and innovate on a national scale. I couldn’t be more confident in the future of the practice and the value this partnership will bring to our clients and communities.”
“For over four decades, DTC has been at the forefront of diagnostic imaging and technology integration and, as such, has earned a trusted reputation among healthcare providers in the Kansas City metro market and beyond,” commented Jason Schneck, OP’s Chief Executive Officer. “We could not be happier to partner with Audrey, Greg and their entire team and support DTC’s reputation for deep industry expertise and exceptional clinical talent.”
OP provides its partner practice groups with comprehensive business and operations support services, which enables them to realize accelerated, sustainable growth; offer additional diagnostic and therapy medical physics services to their customers; and attract and retain top talent.
