Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island (OCLI), a Spectrum Vision Partners managed practice, announced today that the well-respected glaucoma and laser cataract surgeon, Paul L. Krawitz, MD and optometrist Christopher Lutz, OD of Huntington Eye Care, are joining the highly trained ophthalmology and optometry team at OCLI.

This represents the fourth affiliation by a Spectrum Vision Partners’ managed practice since November 2017, when Spectrum Vision Partners announced its strategic relationship with the growth-oriented private equity firm Blue Sea Capital. 15 physicians and 8 locations have been added across the 4 affiliations, expanding the leading network of nationally renowned, multi-specialty ophthalmologists and optometrists in the Tri-State region.

Dr. Krawitz is an ophthalmologist who has been practicing for over 30 years. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, followed by internal medicine training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. Dr. Krawitz completed an ophthalmology residency and fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He completed an additional year of sub-specialization training in glaucoma at Mount Sinai as well.
