Spectrum Vision Partners’ OCLI Announces Seventh Affiliation: Long Island Eye Care

OCLI, a Spectrum Vision Partners managed practice, announced today that it will be adding the respected eye care team of Michael Sable, MD, Barry Fisherman, MD, Edward Baron, MD and James Kelly, MD, of Long Island Eye Care (“LIEC”). LIEC is the seventh affiliation of Spectrum Vision Partners’ managed practices since November 2017, when Spectrum Vision Partners announced its strategic relationship with the growth-oriented, private equity firm Blue Sea Capital. 24 eye doctors and 12 locations have been added across the affiliates, expanding the leading network of nationally renowned, multi-specialty ophthalmologists and optometrists in the Tri-State region.

Dr. Michael Sable, along with the other doctors of LIEC, have built a respected practice known for state-of-the-art technology, a wide range of services and personalized care. Partnering with OCLI will allow the practice to further improve care and expand its patient services.

“This is an exceptional opportunity,” noted Michael Sable, MD. “As part of the OCLI group, Long Island Eye Care and our patients will benefit from maintaining the care they have come to expect from me and my colleagues, with the additional expertise of a leading management services organization within the ophthalmology sector.”

Eric Donnenfeld, MD, OCLI, expressed his excitement to welcome LIEC into the OCLI group, “Long Island Eye Care has served the community with integrity and innovation over many years. Our joint endeavors will allow even more patients to have access to world-class eye care.”

Tom Burke, CEO of Spectrum Vision Partners, commented, “Our company is excited to once again strengthen the OCLI practice hub with the addition of the Long Island Eye Care team. They share our passion for achieving high-quality outcomes, while delivering an outstanding patient experience. Spectrum will continue to assist OCLI to build centers of eye care excellence, with the best and brightest clinicians we can attract. I look forward to future partnerships with the community of eye care providers who recognize OCLI’s long history of transparent business transactions and focus on excellence, coupled with Spectrum’s proven ability to support leading physicians in achieving their long-term goals.”

Spectrum Vision Partners administratively supports the growth and management of leading ophthalmology practices and eye ambulatory surgery centers in the Tri-State area.
